Naprogesic period pain tablets
Naprogesic contains naproxen sodium 275 mg, an anti-inflammatory that targets the aches and pains that come with your period — abdominal cramps, headache and lower back pain. It works by reducing the prostaglandins that drive period pain and cramping.

Naproxen sodium 275 mg per tablet.
Directions for use
At the first sign of period pain or menstrual bleeding (whichever comes first), take 2 tablets with food, then 1 tablet every 6–8 hours as required. Do not take more than 5 tablets in 24 hours. Take with food or a full glass of water. Do not use for more than a few days at a time unless a doctor has told you to.
Before you take it
Do not take Naprogesic if you: have a stomach ulcer, impaired kidney function or heart failure; are allergic to naproxen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines; have asthma (unless a doctor has told you it’s okay); or are already taking another anti-inflammatory or aspirin. Avoid during the first 6 months of pregnancy or while trying to conceive except on your doctor’s advice, and do not use at all in the last 3 months of pregnancy. If you’re breastfeeding or take regular medicines, check with your pharmacist or doctor first. Each tablet contains 25.1 mg of sodium. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Can I drink alcohol while taking Naprogesic?
It’s best to limit alcohol with any anti-inflammatory, as it can increase the risk of stomach upset. If you have concerns, check with your pharmacist.
